A Chinese Banquet!

 This term in DT our topic is to create our own spring rolls! The children were very excited when they heard that we would be tasting Chinese foods in our first lesson (and so was I!). We tried a few traditional foods to help us gain an understanding of the types of foods and flavours we would like to use when we create our own spring rolls later on in the term.

 This term in Science our topic is 'Classification'. We learnt all about Aristotle and the classification system, this week we particularly focused on the 5 main kingdoms of living things. We then classified some living things into their kingdoms based on their characteristics.

Easter Bonnet Parade!

 Yesterday we welcomed the children back to our summer term! I hope that everyone managed to have a restful break. I can't believe how fast the year is going! Yesterday we had our Easter Bonnet parade. It was amazing to see the effort that has been put in to creating these wonderful bonnets!
