 This week in PSHE we discussed diversity. This was the perfect lesson for today as also worked to Show Racism the Red Card. The children each had a sheet with their own silhouette on. They then decorated this with various colours and also some key words that are important to them.

 During our Science lesson today, we discussed the characteristics and adaptations that plants and animals would need to make to live in a certain environment. After this, we were randomly assigned different environments and living conditions and had to create our own animals which were adapted to live in this environment. At the end of the lesson, we used https://deepai.org/machine-learning-model/cute-creature-generator to recreate our animals using AI. It gave some amazing results.

 Our DT topic this half term has been researching into different bird houses. Today we put together all of our findings and created our own bird houses. The children had creative freedom of their creations and had a range of materials to choose from.
