Week 1 Maths

 Happy New Year! I hope that everyone had a wonderful break. 

This week we have started lots of new topics but one of my highlights was getting to use counters and cubes in Maths! It's not very often we use these in Year 6, but the manipulatives matched perfectly with our topic of Ratio. The children used the manipulatives to represent the relationship between two variables. The mathematical language used during this lesson was outstanding!
